Green Amaranth is very easy to grow. Seed should be sown thinly about 2 to 15 seeds a foot in rows 12-18 inches apart. It is fairly maintenance-free, but its slow initial growth leaves it susceptible to competition among weeds until it is established. Amaranth prefers a warm climate, full sun, and well-drained soil.
