Our seeds come with comprehensive planting instructions, making it easy for both novice and experienced gardeners to thrive. How To Grow:Soak the Seeds:Begin by soaking your Elderberry seeds in water for 24 hours to enhance germination rates. Make sure to stratify seeds before soaking. Prepare the Soil:Choose a well-draining soil mix, rich in organic matter. A pH range of 5.5 to 7.0 is ideal. Sow the Seeds:Plant the seeds about 1/4 inch deep in seed trays or directly in your garden bed, spacing them approximately 3 feet apart. Watering:Gently water the seeds to keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Provide Sunlight:Place your seed trays in a sunny location, as Elderberries thrive in full sun (6-8 hours of sunlight daily). Transplant:Once seedlings are about 6 inches tall and have several true leaves, transplant them to their permanent location. Hardiness zones:Elderberries are perennial in USDA hardiness zones 3-9, making them a versatile choice for many gardeners. In zones 10 and above, they will behave as annuals. Blooming times:Expect your Elderberries to bloom in late spring to early summer (May to June), with blooms lasting around 2-4 weeks before fruit begins to set. Height & Spread:Mature Elderberry plants typically reach a height of 5 to 12 feet and can spread 4 to 10 feet, depending on the variety and growing conditions. Watering & sunlight requirements:Water your Elderberry plants regularly, aiming for about 1 inch of water per week during the growing season. Mulching around the base can help retain moisture. Elderberries prefer full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Companion plants:Elderberries pair well with other fruit plants such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, enhancing overall biodiversity in your garden. Seed viability & storage:Elderberry seeds remain viable for up to 3 years if stored correctly. Keep them in a cool, dark place in an airtight container to maintain their germination potential. How to collect seeds:To collect seeds after blooming, allow the berries to fully ripen on the plant. Once harvested, mash the berries to extract seeds, then rinse and dry them before storage. Mulching & Garden additives:Use organic mulches like straw or wood chips to suppress weeds and retain moisture. Incorporating compost or well-rotted manure into your soil will provide essential nutrients to keep your Elderberry plants healthy and thriving. With our Elderberry fruit seeds, you can cultivate a flourishing garden that not only beautifies your landscape but also provides a bountiful harvest. Get ready for the 2025 growing season and enjoy the satisfaction of growing your own Elderberries! Pineapple Ground Cherry (100+ Seeds) – unique and versatile!

Pineapple Ground Cherry or Cape Gooseberry is a relative of the tomatillo in the Solanacea/nightshade family. These are a superfood - packed full of vitamins and minerals. The fruits grow in a lantern or husk and are small 1/2 inch, sweeter and more sour than tomatillos. The plants prefer to sprawl out than grow tall, once the plants get established in early summer they will start putting on fruit. When fruit is ripe, the husk turns light yellow and falls off the plant. Plants will wilt if they get too dry, so recommend mulching or watering regularly or finding a spot that gets afternoon shade. Mulch also keeps the fallen fruit from getting dirty. Seeds are very small, so they are slow to start growing. To plant, barely cover seed or push into soil. Keep soil moist while seedlings small, if they dry out, they may die off. Recommend transplanting outdoors when 2-3 inches tall. Do not pick or eat when they're still green! Once the fruit is collected, they'll remain in good condition inside their husks for a few weeks, flavor continues to sweeten as the fruit fully ripens. The flavor is sweet, slightly of pineapple/mango. The best use I've found is cooking into a jam, just add sugar or lemon juice to taste. Jam is slightly sour and good on ice cream/toast. Probably need at least 3 plants to get enough fruit to make a batch of jam Sale is for 100+ Pineapple Ground Cherry seeds, harvested summer of 2024 for 2025 gardening season. Tomato Cherry - Supersweet 100 Tomato Cherry - Supersweet 100 is a popular variety of cherry tomato known for its exceptionally sweet flavor. It produces an abundance of small, round fruits that are perfect for snacking, salads, or garnishing dishes. These tomatoes are indeterminate, meaning they will continue to grow and produce fruit throughout the growing season until frost. To grow Tomato Cherry - Supersweet 100 from seeds, follow these steps: Seed starting: Start the seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost date in your region. Fill seed trays or small pots with seed-starting mix or a well-draining potting soil. Seed planting: Plant the seeds about ¼ inch deep in the soil. Sow one or two seeds per pot or cell, as you can thin them later if both seeds germinate. Germination: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Place the seed trays in a warm location with temperatures around 70-80°F (21-27°C) to facilitate germination. It usually takes 7-14 days for the seeds to germinate. Light and temperature: Once the seedlings emerge, move them to a bright location or provide them with grow lights for 14-16 hours a day. Maintain a temperature of around 65-75°F (18-24°C) during the day and slightly cooler at night. Transplanting: When the seedlings have developed their second set of true leaves, they are ready to be transplanted into larger containers or the garden. Harden off the seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over the course of a week. Soil preparation: Choose a sunny location in your garden with well-draining soil. Prepare the soil by incorporating organic matter like compost or well-rotted manure to improve fertility and drainage. Spacing: Space the plants about 2-3 feet apart to allow for proper air circulation and growth. If you're growing them in containers, make sure they have sufficient space for the roots to grow. Support: As the tomato plants grow, provide support such as stakes or cages to keep the plants upright and prevent the branches from breaking under the weight of the fruit. Watering and fertilizing: Water the plants regularly, aiming to keep the soil evenly moist. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. Fertilize the plants every 2-3 weeks with a balanced fertilizer, following the package instructions. Pruning and maintenance: Remove any suckers that develop in the leaf axils to promote better airflow and prevent overcrowding. Regularly check for pests or diseases and take appropriate action if necessary. Harvesting: Tomato Cherry - Supersweet 100 fruits are ready to harvest when they are fully colored, firm, and have reached the desired size. Gently twist or cut the fruits from the stem when harvesting to avoid damaging the plant. With proper care, Tomato Cherry - Supersweet 100 plants will provide you with an abundance of sweet cherry tomatoes throughout the growing season. Enjoy their delicious flavor!
