Here is another of our prized offerings: CUCUMBER STRAIGHT EIGHT AWARD WINNER * Straight Eight cucumber is a former All-American Selections winner that has outstanding flavor and firm flesh. * Straight Eight is a Non-GMO, heirloom cucumber that is incredibly adaptable to different soil types and climatic conditions! * This classic slicer cucumber is a a very fast grower in the vegetable garden. * It received its name due to their near perfectly straight fruit. * It is known for its beautiful deep green color and great flavor. * These can be Spring sown in warm regions. * Just pick these when they're about 8 inches long and experience true bliss! * You can choose to grow these with a fencing support or just use a simple trellis to keep them upright. You can also just allow them to ramble on the ground. Life Cycle- annual Germination Temperature-75 Fahrenheit in pre-moistened seedling mix 1/2 inch depth. If sowing indoors use decomposable pots because they do "not" like root disturbance. Outdoor sowing is preferable after last frost.
