(Not Wet) 2) Dust seeds with a fungicide to prevent mold or fungus to keep them protected during the long germination time for most.3) A heated propagator must be used to keep soil between 75-80 degrees F to achieve germination with Naranjilla seeds. 4) As with any Tropical seeds, a few may germinate within 4 to 6 weeks, but expect most to take anywhere from 4-5 months longer so please be patient. Be sure to periodically keep moist never letting them dry out. Use a spray bottle to mist them to keep the soil from being wet and not moist. Keeping the soil wet will rot the seeds. 5) As each individual seeds sprouts, plant the seedlings out in the open ground in warmer countries, or use a large container in cooler climates."Please Contact us First if you need Anything"

You'll be shocked.Outdoors, Zones: 9-11Hummingbird Germination:These seeds have a really hard seed coat and need scarification before sowing to help & speed up germination. This can usually be done by sanding the hard shell of the seed with rough grit sandpaper, then pour a small amount of nearly boiling water on the seeds (being careful not to cook them!) and then soaking them for 24-38 hours in warm water. By this time they should have imbibed moisture and swollen - if they have not, then carefully make a small shallow nick in the seed's coat (being careful not to damage the embryo) and soak for a further 12 hours. It is Very Important to use a heated propagated heat mat under your tray at least 78 Degrees F before sowing. Germination can take any where from 2 weeks to several months as with any Tropical or Exotic Seed. The propagator will help speed up some of them. But, Patience is needed for most of these seeds, but they're more than Well Worth the Wait!"Please Contact us First if you need Anything"Please Check out our Other Items!Buy with Confidence as Customer Service is our #1 Priority and are available 7 days a week. I feel through my experience the best way to store your seed is in the refrigerator. Some vegetable varieties produce seed that remains viable for many years (tomatoes) and others produce seed that does not store well under any conditions (onions). I believe seed stored under refrigerated conditions could last 10 years or more. I have just planted some ACE 55 seeds from 2000 this last summer 2017. They did great! Germination rates were in the 90% range and these seeds had been sitting in a box in my garage for the past 17 years! I have some of that seed available now listed as Marlboro Ace 55. GET SOME! At Frontier Farms, we specialize in many varieties of Heirloom tomatoes, peppers, plus many other vegetable varieties. WHAT IS AN HEIRLOOM? Heirloom plants are grown from seeds that have been handed down thru generations, saved from year to year, some varieties dating back hundreds of years. Many made the migration from Europe and the East with the immigrants coming to the USA. The seeds are never cross pollinated and so they remain true to their particular characteristics. Heirloom tomatoes come in all colors, shapes, and sizes ? Reds, Pinks, Yellows, Orange, White, Green, Striped, and Black. Ranging in sizes of cherry and grape to large grapefruit size, meaty, or juicy. WHY HEIRLOOM? These tomatoes are more natural, they are non GMO (genetically modified). They do not have as long of a shelf life as store bought tomatoes, but that is what makes them special. They have a real fantastic tomato flavor not found in grocery store offerings. These tomatoes are indeterminate (they grow all season, they flower all season and they produce tomatoes all season. They don?t stop until frost. Once heirloom tomatoes are picked, they do not have a long shelf life as hybrids but they more than make up for any shortcomings in flavor. Please see my other listings and my store for more great varieties and thank you!
